Adwords

Google Adwords is an example of paid search engine marketing. The process is for a business to bid on a set of keywords related to their business. When people search on Google using one of paid keywords, the ad may appear next to the search results in sponsored links. The ads are usually two sentence length. Search engines potential customers can simply click the ad to make a purchase or learn more about the company. Google AdWords uses three different match categories: broad, phrase and exact match. Broad match uses an enormous keyword search criteria. This sometimes causes the ads to show in some irrelevant searches. For an instance, sites bidding for “pizza delivery” will show in a broad search for “does eating pizza affects baby delivery?” Phrase match, a more relevant search, allows the ad to appear on the search when keywords are shown together. Hence allowing a more relevant search; for an example “order pizza delivery online”. The last option returns the exact match of keywords. This option targets a direct audience. Example “pizza delivery” will solely return on the exact keywords.
